Idea Fabrik Plc has confirmed, through its own investigation and discussion with authorities, that the extremely heavy trading volume in its shares initiated on Tuesday, 5, July 2011, was the direct result of a broadcast Fax “SPAM” sent by an unknown third part.
This Fax Spam communication recommended purchase of the Company’s shares based on invented and artificial rumors about the Company’s immediate prospects that were created by the third party to create trading profits by taking advantage of certain other market news concerning the on-line gaming and social media market.
Neither the Company nor its appointed agents or service providers had any part in this activity and specifically disassociate themselves from this event and any such practice. The Company is very careful in its communication policy and communicates with its shareholders and the market in general, according to conservative application of widely accepted principles regarding materiality and certainty of events.
The Company is also supporting and cooperating fully with various authorities in their investigation of the matter.

Die Idea Fabrik Plc weist darauf hin, dass die am gestrigen Dienstag, 5. Juli 2011, per SPAM-Fax versandte Kaufempfehlung der Aktie weder vom Unternehmen selbst noch durch von ihr beauftragte Dienstleister initiiert wurde. Eine im dem versandten Fax angedeutete Übernahme der Idea Fabrik Plc kann derzeit nicht bestätigt werden. Das Unternehmen verfolgt aktuell eine Vielzahl von erfolgversprechenden Projekten – siehe auch die heutige Pressemeldung -, die in regelkonformer Art und Weise kommuniziert werden, sobald deren Umsetzung vertraglich fixiert ist. Die Verursacher der Faxversendung beabsichtigen augenscheinlich das derzeit äußerst positive Kapitalmarktumfeld für “Online- und Social Media Gaming” für ihre Zwecke zu gebrauchen und Handelsgewinne zu erzielen. Idea Fabrik Plc distanziert sich ausdrücklich von dieser Art des Missbrauchs des Unternehmensnamens.
